EBAday Edinburgh 2012

It was our 4 year as an exhibitor at EBAday, but for the first time we went as EBA Associate Member. Maintaining its tradition, the event hosted by the Euro Banking Association and Finextra, gathered, this time in Edinburgh, payment professionals from banks all across Europe. This year’s programme entitled “Achieving Innovation through collaboration”, comprised keynotes, panel discussions and debates, featuring more than 50 of Europe’s leading figures in payment who have discussed the new challenges in the transaction business on our continent.

Our delegation had also the opportunity to discuss about Allevo’s FinTP project, as stand visitors showed a lot of interest in this open-source initiative: building an application for financial transactions processing (FinTP) and a community around it (FINkers United), using a ground-breaking approach inspired by the open source space.
